Marketing Challenge
With a significant downturn in the economy and reduction in overall travel, make a luxury resort, The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and Spa, a regional destination for weekend getaways.
Solution
Re-brand the property to be appealing to a younger and hipper target market that will take advantage of the beach, golf course, restaurants, spa and other amenities of the resort. This effort included redesign of corporate advertising, brochures, restaurant menus and materials as well as implementing promotions to drive traffic to the property. Promotions included gift with stay (Taylor Made Golf Clubs), special golf packages from key markets and special events at the property. During the campaign period, The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and Spa consistently exceed its corporate quota and was the only property in the chain to do so.
