Build an overall strategy to make pre-paid MasterCard Debit cards attractive to teens as well as to generate interest among potential high profile licensees to participate.  Develop an initial launch program on a limited budget that will drive traffic to the company’s website to build awareness and acquisition of cards.

SOLUTION

Direct the development of an overall business strategy for the company and its MYplash pre-paid MasterCard products.  Expand the offerings from musical artists to celebrities, high profile brands and generic lifestyle cards that would be attractive to the target audience.  Develop exciting creative for artist and brand cards and landing pages on the website to interest consumers.  Build promotions with key retail and manufacturing partners to drive traffic to the website.  Tour support for initial artists and on-site sweepstakes created initial interest at product launch.  Joint promotions with Journey’s stores resulted in over 80,000 entries to sweepstakes at the website. Presence of the brand has resulted in the commitment of over 50 licenses, major funding and significant partner participation.
