Capture the buzz generated by the theatrical release of Lilo And Stitch to carry over the interest into a strong DVD release.
The Results
Create a home video campaign that spoke both to children and to children at heart, by utilizing the unique animation style of the movie to portray its beauty and interesting characters. Additionally, build a campaign around the movie’s theme of “O’hana” or “family,” creating a warm and inviting feel for its audience.
E2amp was one of several agencies invited to present home video campaigns for this new Disney franchise. In a rare move, after evaluating all of the initial campaign strategies, Disney chose to use e2amp as the only agency to develop the home video campaign for Lilo And Stitch. The campaign included key art development, posters, sales brochures, consumer and trade ads, outdoor billboards and bus shelters, packaging as well as pre-awareness and in-store materials. The home video release was very positively received by consumers and surpassed sales expectations.
