Marketing Challenge

Create a unique look for Disney’s new line of Blu-ray Disc format movie releases to differentiate their product from competitors in the market.

The Results

Develop a line-look that utilized an arc, complimenting the lines of the Blu-ray Disc logo. Use a metallic foil in the arc area to make the image pop on the package. Create a 3D feel by highlighting parts of the key art and title treatments.  The new line-look approach easily distinguished the new format for consumers and successfully launched the new Blu-ray Disc format for Disney with a unique and bold look.
